We create custom botanical art pieces handcrafted to reflect all the beautiful details of your Bridal Bouquet.
The Process: 12-14 weeks.
Step 1: Prepare Your Bouquet - On your Event day, place the bouquets in a cool space with water so you can bring us the sturdiest petals. Please drop off bouquets in water on the Monday following the Event to ensure the best blossom quality for us to use. We will not use every blossom in the project; however, this gives us the highest quantity and best options to select from. We will not return blossoms that are not chosen for the project. Flower wear often shows up after it is dried and cast. Blemishes and Bruising happen from handling the blossoms. We use tweezers and minimal handling to care for the flowers while in our care.
Step 2: Bouquet Preservation - We dissect your bouquet and groom each blossom to ensure the best use/care in the design. We dry the flowers for ~8 weeks before sealing them with a UV protectant to preserve their beauty and use in the design. We make sure ALL the water is removed from the flower; we pour resin in several thin layers to allow depth and maintain the integrity of the cast. After the last cast has been placed, the project sits for a week to harden. It will still be soft for 30 days after the pour.
Step 3: Pickup or Shipping - Once the item is ready, we will set up a pickup location and date or arrange shipping.
