Our 3 Phase Approach to Wedding Planning

Planning a wedding can feel very overwhelming. From the napkin fold to the guest list and more it is a very detailed ordeal.

We have a staged approach to wedding planning to stay organized and keep things running smoothly.  We have used this tried and true planning process to plan over 400 weddings since 2010. 

Let’s dive in…


PHASE I: VISION SETTING & NON DESIGN VENDOR BOOKINGS

We will start with understanding your vision for your wedding or the overall look and feel you are wanting for your wedding day. To do this, we select 3 - 5 key words that you want your wedding to ‘feel’ like. This could be “fancy and elegant” to “casual and beachy”.

This helps us understand how to guide your budget planning, which is one of the first things we help you set. What you want your wedding to ‘feel’ like and how you prioritize your budget - will allow us to appropriately guide your venue or vendor selections.

Next, we focus on securing the critical non design vendors who will make your day success. Mainly:

  • Venue

  • Catering

  • Bartending

  • Photographer

  • Cinematographer (if desired)

  • Officiant

  • Transportation (if needed)

We focus on these vendors first so we know what kind of budget we have left for the design elements. Think of this as ensuring the electrical and plumbing are complete before you focus on the furniture and flatware.


PHASE II: DESIGN

Once we establish the non-design vendors, we move on to the pretty things. The design phase is centered around the things that will make your theme come alive.  

This phase covers everything from:

  • Attire: Selecting the perfect outfits for the occasion

  • Floral: sets the tone of your event more than any other detail at your wedding

  • Stationary: helps create your theme while making guests feel informed

  • Personal Decor: if desired, personal decor touches can bring add your own unique personality to your love story.

  • Rentals: if desired, rentals can elevate your event by adding an elegant and stunning touch to your theme.

    We will utilize your inspirations + our Design Studios to identify and source the details you most desire.


PHASE III: TIMELINE & EXECUTION

This is where it all starts to come together! The timeline will be curated throughout the wedding planning so that all details are documented and accounted for. Vendors  start to get contacted with the expectation details and the pieces of the puzzle begin to come together!  

We work closely with all vendors to ensure a timeline meets each experts needs as well as allows for you the time you deserve to enjoy each moment.

… then all the magic happens!! The week of the wedding, we handle all last minute questions, emails, and logistics that come up. We want you to be the go-between for vendors and your desires so that you can stay focused on all of your loved ones.

We guide you through your rehearsal the day before your wedding, and are typically one of the first vendors to arrive, and usually the last to leave.  Our role is to ensure the execute of all of the wedding details by assisting the vendors, the guests, and being of service to you and your wedding party. This allows you to stay focused on the moments and memories and us to handle the rest.
