A Letter To My 2020 Brides ...

Dear beautiful bride,

I feel your pain. I know your excitement. I experienced my own engagement journey and celebrated on my wedding day and that enjoyment was what led me to helping and serving others in this industry. It’s not fair that you don’t get to experience it too.

It feels like yesterday that we were adding final touches to your bridal shower, researching fun activities for your bachelorette party, and shopping for your little white dress for your rehearsal dinner, or finalizing your timeline. Then - stupid, f*#!ing COVID ruined it all.

I’m pissed too.

If you’re thinking “why NOW?”, you’re not alone.

This should be of the happiest, most magical time in your life, and instead, it is full of sadness, confusion, and fear. Maintaining perspective is hard in moments when heartache is all you feel.

I want your to know that you are not alone. You are worthy of your Big Day and all of the happiness.

I want you to know that you are allowed to be sad about this, to cry and to be mad. Take your time processing everything. This is a LOT. This is HARD.

Please know I am sending so much love to each and every one of you and acknowledgement that this isn’t fair.

Please know how lucky you are to have found someone you love enough to want to spend the rest of your life with. For that, we have so much to be grateful for.

You’ve got this.

xoxo,
Tawni
